Great Lakes Waldorf Institute
Great Lakes Waldorf Institute, based in Milwaukee, WI, offers adults the choice of several Waldorf teaching certificate programs as well as opportunities for anthroposophical adult enrichment. Our certificate programs integrate studies in Waldorf pedagogy and child development with philosophical foundation studies in Anthroposophy. Active, hands-on work in the arts supports the inner-deepening, growth of self-knowledge, and schooling of perception essential for the Waldorf teacher.
Since its first summer intensive, GLWI has maintained a partnership with Mount Mary University, Milwaukee, that affords students an opportunity to earn a fully accredited Master of Arts Degree in Education with a Waldorf Emphasis.
Great Lakes Waldorf Institute (GLWI) is an Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) “Candidate for Full Member” and a Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America (WECAN) “Developing” Institute.
GLWI was established in 2001 in response to the need, both locally and nationally, for well-prepared Waldorf teachers. We hope we have the opportunity to support you in your own Waldorf journey.
